All children attending the Russian School are automatically given a membership to the Russian School library.
Once every two weeks, all students are invited to choose a book of their choice. For children of primary and secondary school age, library time is allocated during the Russian language classes.
All children enrolled in any class offered by the Russian School, can borrow books by contacting the librarian directly.
Books taken in the library are marked in the electronic account of the borrower.
Books are issued for two weeks. After two weeks, the books must be handed over to the library or the borrowing period can be extended for 2 more weeks through the library's website or through the librarian.
In case of the loss of a book, the borrower will be required to make a payment in the amount equal to twice the cost of the book, according to the school library catalog. This amount will allow the school to cover the purchase of a new book, plus delivery from Russia and customs duty. Payment must be made before the end of the school year, so that the librarian has the opportunity to order and deliver the book in time for the beginning of the next school year.
